Computer Setup - Basic
Get a new PC or laptop? Need assistance in getting everything connected and configured? This service includes the physical setup and configuration of your computer, connecting your monitor, speakers, keyboard, and mouse. The SNAFU Crew will put it through the initial setup paces, download and install operating system updates and give you basic instructions for using your new computer. Plus if you bought your computer through SNAFU, we will connect and configure any other devices you bought with it!

Computer Setup - Silver
Includes everything in the Basic Package and adds removal of extraneous programs that come pre-installed and can slow the computer's performance. We'll also install and configure security software to keep you properly protected. Security software purchased separately.

Computer Setup - Gold
Includes everything in the Silver Package and we will customize the personal and performance settings to suit your use.

Computer Setup - Platinum
Includes everything in the Gold Package and we will also provide additional Windows 7 training for working with and maintaining you new computer.

Operating System Install/Upgrade
If you have a new operating system or want to upgrade your existing operating system, we will run an upgrade analysis to verify all components and programs will work with the new operating system. We'll perform the installation/upgrade and verify that the system is stable and patched. Operating system not included. Does not include reinstallation of any applications. Valid for Windows or Mac operating systems only.

Software Install
Get that new software up and running on your computer with this service. We will install and/or repair, configure and update (1) software title and add convenient desktop, start menu and quick launch bar shortcuts for quick and easy access. Software not included. Does not include data entry or migration or instruction in operating the software.

Router Install
Put protection in place. A router between your Internet connection and your computer is the first step in security. The SNAFU Crew will install and configure a router, set up basic firewall rules and configure up to (2) devices/computers to connect to the network. Devices/computers must have network capability. Network adapters are not included.

Wireless Networking Setup
Need the convenience of a wireless network at home? The SNAFU Crew will install and configure a wireless router, set up the wireless security to protect the wireless network and configure up to (2) devices/computers to connect to the wireless network. Devices/computers must have wireless capability. Wireless adapters are not included.

Add Device to Home Network
Need to add a compatible device or another computer to your wireless network or need to share files and a printer between 2 computers? We can configure and connect your device, whether it's wired or wireless, to be shared over your home network.

Email Setup
Get your e-mail program (Outlook, etc.) up and running on your computer. This service includes configuring and updating your e-mail program with an active email account. Software not included.

Memory Install/Upgrade
This service includes the installation of the physical RAM into your computer and then we verify that the computer properly sees the new RAM and adjust the Windows operating system to take advantage of the new memory. Does not include the cost of the physical RAM.

Hard Drive Install
Need to add another hard drive to your computer? A member of the SNAFU Crew will physically install the new hard drive in your computer. We will configure the software or operating system present to make the drive operational and verify that it can be accessed and used by the operating system. Does not include installing the operating system or data migration.

Optical Drive Install
Have a new CD/DVD/Blue Ray player or Burner for your computer? We can install the drive and configure it for proper use with the appropriate provided software. Does not include the cost of the drive.

Card/Adapter/Modem Install
Have a new video card, sound card or a wireless adapter? We can install and configure the new card/adapter for proper use with the appropriate provided software.

Printer/Scanner/All-in-One Install
Have a new Printer, Scanner, or All-in-One Device? Having trouble getting it working? The SNAFU Crew will connect your device and load the drivers or other software necessary to make sure it works with your computer. Service includes printer connection to 1 computer.

Handheld Device Install
Got a digital camera, PDA, GPS, or MP3 player you can’t get to work with your computer? We can connect your device and load the drivers or other software necessary to get it working with your computer. Service includes the installation of 1 device to 1 computer. Does not include cell phones or smartphones.

Virus and Spyware Removal
Does your PC have an infection that your antivirus software can’t remove? Are you experiencing pop-ups, slowness, and/or programs that are installing themselves without your consent? With our proprietary SNAFU Support Tools, we will scan your computer and remove all discovered virus, spyware and malware files and repair the related issues.

Computer Tune-Up
Is your computer getting slower and slower? Is your PC littered with programs that you no longer use that are taking up valuable hard drive space? A member of the SNAFU Crew can take care of that, and more. This service includes scanning (1) personal computer or laptop with our proprietary SNAFU Support Diagnostic Tools to clean out unwanted and unneeded applications, temp files, etc. and applying best practice optimization modifications to ensure your operating system is updated and running smoothly. This service does not include virus/spyware removal.

Create Restore Disk
Create a backup image of your operating system and data in case of a hard drive or other catastrophic system failure. Restore that image once the computer is repaired and you're back! Includes the CD/DVDs to make the image.

Backup and Transfer of Data - Standard
We will transfer up to 10GB of data from a computer to another computer, external drive, CD/DVD, USB device or online source.

We will transfer up to 50GB of data from a computer to another computer, external drive, CD/DVD, USB device or online source.

Set Up Data Backup Routine
We can install and configure backup software (not included) to backup your important files on your computer to either an external hard drive or USB flash drive, all automatically! Pictures, video, music, documents, and more can be safely, automatically backed up.

Email Repair
Can't get your e-mail? This service includes repairing, configuring and updating the e-mail client with an active email account. Software not included.

Printer/Scanner/All-in-one Repair
Printer or scanner on the fritz? We can find the cause of your problem, adjust software and configuration, and recommend replacement parts if necessary. Service for 1 device connected to 1 computer. Replacement parts not included.

Hard Drive Data Recovery
The SNAFU Crew will provide an initial assessment of the drive to determine if any data can be recovered. We will perform our in-office operations to recover any found data. If we cannot recover any data, you will not be charged.

Hard Drive Failure - Logical
Should we determine upon the initial assessment that we cannot recover the data by our normal practices, we will send the drive(s) to our Recovery Services Lab for data recovery. Again, if we cannot recover any data, you will not be charged.

System Restore
Is your computer crashing? Are you unable to boot into your operating system? The SNAFU Crew can restore the computer back to its original factory installation using the re-installation disks that came with the computer. Your PC will be just like the day you got it. (Must have original re-installation disks from the computer manufacturer)

Diagnostic Assessment
Having trouble with your computer? We'll perform our proprietary SNAFU Support Diagnostics on it and determine what is causing the issue. We'll then discuss our findings with you and provide an estimate on any repairs needed.

Technology Consultation
The SNAFU Crew member will visit your location (up to 2 hours) and help design a solution to meet your needs and expectations. We'll review your current device and configuration status and present you with a comprehensive proposal for completing the project.

Wireless Network Security Check
Did you know that 80% of wireless networks are not secure? The SNAFU Crew can check the security of your existing home Wireless Network and make it secure. We will also provide the results and any suggestions that will bolster your security's protection.

User/Parental Account Setup
Want your computer to allow multiple users to log into their own profiles, or do you have Parental Control Software to prevent your children from accessing certain websites you need help with? We can create user accounts, assign permissions, and configure filtering based on your needs. Includes 1 account on 1 computer. Parental Control Software not included.

Handheld Device Sync
Need your handheld device to synchronize with your computer? We can do it for you. Synchronize photos, calendar data, contacts, and more between your handheld device and your computer. Service includes the synchronization of 1 device to 1 computer. Does not include cell phones or smartphones.

Want to sync your cell phone or smartphone with your computer? We will install your phone sync software and synchronize your email, calendar, contacts, or other data (dependant on your phones capabilities). Service includes the synchronization of 1 phone to 1 computer.

Don’t have time to bring your computer to our offices but you don’t want a Technician working on your computer in your home? No problem. We can pick up your computer, do the work in our offices, and then deliver it back to you. Does not include Computer Disconnect or Reconnect.

Not sure how to disconnect your computer to bring it in to our offices? Our SNAFU crew can safely and correctly disconnect your system for you.

Basic Operating System Training
Have one of our knowledgeable and patient SNAFU Training Crew members walk you through the new features and basic operation and administration of you new operating system. We'll cover tips and tricks, as well as the usability of browsing and media resources in the operating system.

Basic Microsoft Office Training
Our SNAFU Training Crew members can show you how to navigate through the programs in the Microsoft Office Suite. We can set up custom features and show you shortcuts as well as answer your program specific questions.

Basic MP3/Camera/Handheld Training
How do you get your Pictures, videos, or music onto or off of these devices? We know you want to do it yourself, and we can show you how!

Customized Training
This one hour training session can be customized to target your needs in Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 or Microsoft Office applications. This would need pre-scheduling and discussion with the SNAFU Crew trainer to fully determine the needs and expectations of the individualized training session.
